    WHAT WE DO

The Go Network’s mission is to strengthen local leaders and ministries in order to multiply the expansion of God’s Kingdom until the entire world trusts and follows Jesus.

We Collaborate: Ministries gain better health and mission activity expands through collaborations.

We Develop everyday missionaries and leaders.  At its core, the Kingdom of God grows as one person shares the Gospel with another.

We Curate and Create resources and training experiences to prepare people for their roles in the congregation, school, and mission.

We Support people and ministries in mission. As we are able, we aim to provide support in the following areas:

    • Training
    • Coaching
    • Worker Benefits
    • Strategic Planning
    • Funding

    HOW WE DO IT

    Tab6

To accelerate progress toward accomplishing the mission, six progress targets have been identified. The targets provide a “low threshold/high bar” approach to strengthening local leaders and ministries to multiply the expansion of God’s Kingdom. The targets are intended to be engaged by leaders and ministries incrementally, contextually, and “at your own pace.”

    Six Progress Targets:

    1. Every person living on mission
    2. Every disciple making disciples
    3. Every leader raising up leaders
    4. Every congregation being a vibrant and faithful expression of Christ's presence to its community
    5. Every congregation birthing new congregations or ministries
    6. Everyone collaborating with those willing to pursue the same mission

The Go Network’s mission is to strengthen local leaders and ministries in order to multiply the expansion of God’s Kingdom until the entire world trusts and follows Jesus.

The Six Progress Targets accelerate the achievement of the mission in the local context and within our Lutheran confessional framework.

However, the key to achieving these goals will be in helping local leaders and ministries build collaborative relationships with fellow practitioners and organizations that can provide the specific resources, training, or mentoring needed. The Go Network will support this by organizing itself around Local, Regional/Affinity, and Network-Wide tiers.

    LOCAL

2-10 peers who meet at least monthly, either in person or virtually, to deepen relationships and to support, encourage, train, mentor, and hold each other accountable as they take their next steps in mission, ministry, and multiplication.

    REGIONAL/AFFINITY

2-10 Locals connected by region or affinity (e.g., church planting, rural, urban, large church, etc.) who meet regularly, either in person or virtually, to share resources, support, training, and mentoring as they take their next steps in mission, ministry, and multiplication.

    NETWORK-WIDE

The Go Network has a Leadership Team to oversee the following essential services that support the entire ecosystem of the network:
    1)    A Priority on Relationships

    • The Leadership Team helps its members cultivate and preserve trusting relationships for the sake of collaboration, support, encouragement, and mutual accountability - locally, regionally, and network-wide.

    2)    A Network of Networks

    • There are already several networks (organizations) within our Lutheran confessional framework that have expertise in mission-focused discipleship, leadership development, and starting new ministries. The Go Network will act as a platform to connect leaders and ministries with the organizations that can help them take the next steps in mission, ministry, and multiplication.

    3)    A Catalyst for What’s Next

    • As new ideas and opportunities arise within the Go Network, the Leadership Team will assist in facilitating the necessary actions.
